Ramsgate SEND Parent De-Escalation is designed for parents seeking to better understand and manage challenging behaviors in their children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Day 1 and Day 2 are theory days. If you purchase this course for £60 this is to arrive on both the 12th and 13th January in Ramsgate to attend a 2 day course in De-escalation.
For all 3 days, the practical would have to be purchased as well which is £100 in total for all three days.
The practical physical intervention day is the final part of the course, following two days focused on prevention and de-escalation. This day is hands-on and helps parents safely and calmly manage situations that may become physical. Participants learn appropriate, proportionate techniques used only as a last resort to keep everyone safe. The session is slow-paced, supervised, and always focused on safety, respect, and reducing the need for restraint.
